Preserve Our Legacy – Donate Today/Become A Member 

The Friends-Stewards of African American Museum and Library at Oakland (FSAAMLO) in collaboration with the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), Northern California Coalition have launched 
“Preserve Our Legacy” campaign starting NOW.  

FSAAMLO is a 501(c)(3) a nonprofit organization that supports and is in partnership with the African American Museum and Library at Oakland (AAMLO). 

As FSAAMLO, we fundraise for AAMLO and serve as “Stewards” to preserve over 160 archival collections, host oral history events, lectures, student internships and community beautifications days at AAMLO.  Donations will go directly to the FSAAMLO to support events, exhibits and programming at AAMLO.    

FSAAMLO is dedicated to the discovery, preservation, interpretation, sharing of historical and cultural experiences of African Americans in California and the West for present and future generations.
