659 14th Street, Oakland, CA  94612

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2018.  In collaboration with the African American Museum and Library at Oakland (AAMLO), we are dedicated to the discovery, preservation, interpretation and sharing of historical and cultural experiences of African Americans in California and the West for present and future generations.

Our Mission

We serve the community by partnering with the African American Museum and Library at Oakland (AAMLO) to create a synergy that links the community to the resources and programming presented at the AAMLO.

We act as Stewards to establish pathways to lifelong learning, to inspire, uplift, and educate our community about African American history and culture in Oakland, and Northern California for present and future generations.
