Our Mission

We serve the community by partnering with the African American Museum and Library at Oakland (AAMLO) to create a synergy that connects the community to the resources, programs, and educational opportunities presented through AAMLO.

As stewards, we strive to inspire, uplift, and educate our community about African American history and culture in Oakland and Northern California while creating pathways to lifelong learning for present and future generations.
